Neo Genesis ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website neogenesis.app and its subdomains. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our websites.

4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
Google Analytics (GA4): For website traffic analysis. Google may collect and process data according to their Privacy Policy.
Google AdSense: On our blog and insight articles only (never on the homepage, pricing, or contact pages), AdSense may serve ads and use cookies to do so, including personalized ads where you have granted consent. See our Google Partner Sites policy for how Google uses this data.
PostHog: For product and conversion analytics.
Vercel: For website hosting and analytics.
5. Cookies and Consent
Our websites use cookies for analytics purposes, and — on blog/insight pages only — for advertising. We use Google Consent Mode v2: visitors in the EU/EEA, UK, and Switzerland default to advertising cookies denied until you make an explicit choice in the cookie banner shown on your first visit; elsewhere, advertising cookies default to granted but you may decline at any time via the same banner or your browser settings. Existing GA4/PostHog analytics remain separate. Optional Amplitude collection is never granted by continued browsing or advertising-cookie acceptance; use the separate choices below.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

For users in the European Union, we comply with GDPR requirements. For users in South Korea, we comply with the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
7. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
8. Data Retention and Destruction
Existing GA4/PostHog analytics: retained for no more than 14 months after collection. Amplitude is separate and retained until a deletion request, as described below.
Hosting and security logs: retained for no more than 30 days unless a specific security incident requires a longer investigation.
Email enquiries: deleted within 30 days after the enquiry is resolved, unless the message becomes part of a transaction or dispute record that applicable law requires us to keep.
Browser consent preference: stored in your browser until you clear site data or change the preference.
When a retention period ends, electronic records are deleted from active systems and scheduled for deletion from processor backups under the processor's deletion cycle. We do not create paper copies of website analytics or email enquiries.

Recipient / transfer country
Amplitude, Inc. (privacy@amplitude.com), United States. The browser sends consented events over HTTPS when you use the service.
Data / purpose
A product-scoped pseudonymous identifier, allowlisted usage events, timestamps and bounded page/action/source context, for usage statistics and service improvement. No name, email, phone, free text or advertising identifier is included in these events.
Retention
Until a deletion request. No automatic expiry is currently configured; this is not a 14-month retention promise.
Withdrawal / deletion
Withdrawal immediately stops sending and discards pending events without removing saved guides. It does not erase events already received by Amplitude. Copy the identifier below, withdraw, then email neogenesis@neogenesis.app with that identifier and confirmation of withdrawal. Possession of the identifier establishes the request; no ID document or phone number is required. Your email is used only to handle and reply to this request, then deleted.
Within 10 days of receiving your request we submit the deletion to Amplitude and tell you; Amplitude completes it within 30 days of submission. We also confirm completion when Amplitude reports it.

철회하면 즉시 전송을 중단하고 대기 사건을 버리며 저장한 안내는 유지합니다. 이미 수신된 서버 자료는 별도 삭제 요청이 필요합니다. 아래 식별자를 복사하고 철회한 뒤 neogenesis@neogenesis.app로 식별자와 철회 사실을 보내 주세요. 식별자 소지로 요청을 확인하며 신분증·전화번호는 요구하지 않습니다. 요청 이메일은 처리·회신에만 사용한 뒤 삭제합니다.
삭제를 요청하시면 받은 날부터 10일 이내에 Amplitude에 삭제를 접수하고 그 사실을 알려 드리며, Amplitude는 접수 후 30일 이내에 삭제를 완료합니다. 완료 확인 시 다시 알려 드립니다.
